Daily Office and Prayers

Christ told us of the need to pray continually and never lose heart (Luke 18:1)

OFS Ireland members can choose their daily office from any of the following options. Also, the choice can be varied from day to day:

  1. Liturgy of the Hours using the “Shorter Morning and Evening Prayer”
    Note: While both are recommended, one will suffice.
  2. “My Life with God” Green Book with the Office of the day. A PDF can be downloaded here: Green Book Rule and Daily Office
  3. Divine Office: Liturgy of the Hours according to the Roman Rite (as many of the hours that is feasible) .
  4. The 12 (Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be)

Note: The Office of the Passion follows the long-established seven hours of the Divine Office. However, all or part can be prayed at any time that suits lay circumstances.
